GoldenRule is seeking an experienced Software Tester to join the team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing CRM platforms, client portals, and mobile apps (Android/iOS). This role requires a blend of technical testing expertise and a client-service mindset to ensure applications not only work but also provide an intuitive, user-friendly experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for CRM platforms, client portals, and mobile applications
• Conduct functional, customer scenario, stress, performance, and scalability testing
• Identify and log defects, ensuring resolution prior to release
• Apply client-focused testing to ensure usability and intuitive workflows
• Suggest process improvements to enhance overall software quality
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to align testing with development cycles

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification (IT, Computer Science, or similar)
• Extensive experience in software testing roles within financial services
• Proven experience testing CRM systems and client portal solutions
• Strong background in test automation
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate business requirements into technical testing
• Knowledge of wealth management systems and adviser value propositions
